These images show the different characters I created for a mock student campaign promoting an up and coming music festival. I entitled it the 'Harmonic Plague' .
The concept of the 'Harmonic Plague' comes from how fans usually show up in their thousands for big music festivals. They make a lot of noise, act crazy and out of control... and then they simply leave. Similar to a plague of locusts causing ‘devastation’ =).

Therefore these character designs not only portrayed the different music genres of the festival, but also humorously compared fans and artists to a swarm of locusts.
