I made this film as a part of my Final Project for my Masters Degree in Animation & Vfx at AJKMCRC, Jamia University with the intention of keeping it funny, short and with a message that audience will not be able to forget easily. So I used the Iconic scene of DDLJ where Simran is running besides train to catch Raj as everybody remembers this scene but I gave some unexpected twist in the end.
From writing, storyboarding to character designing all was done by me. The animation style is inspired from Cyanide and Happiness shorts.
Featured: This Short film was then promoted by Indian Railways Police for Train safety. It was aggressively circulated on Whatsapp so that maximum people can be reached and the video was also covered extensively by all prime news channels like ABP News, Aaj Tak, IBN 7 and other entertainment sites like Scoopwhoop and Newspapers like Times Of India.
