The Holiday Balloon Fest is an annual festival in Battle Creek, MI. This festival happens in the winter around the holidays. I wanted the poster to evoke a wintry feel as opposed to holiday, so I chose a cool-colored photo taken from a personal balloon ride, and overlapped hand-drawn balloons to emphasize the playful feel of the event
