Penguin Book Design
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Penguin Book's annual competition gave the opportunity to redesign Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. The style of illustration chosen is based on finnish folk patterns inspired by the modern interpreted designs of illustrator Sanna Annukka. The idea behind the design was to express the beauty of freedom referred to within the story, narrated by The Chief.
