Adobe Remix — Sam Wick

Paper Works

The Adobe Remix is an ongoing project which a broad range of creatives reinterpret the Adobe logo.I drew inspiration from my personal experience with Adobe, which is rooted in print design. I wanted to celebrate that with a nod to print and its physical nature, while also incorporating the digital world that is so important to Adobe.

The result is a three-dimensional representation of pixels which form the Adobe logo. It's constructed entirely from colored paper, meticulously arranged to give the illusion of a color gradient.

After doing small proof of concepts, I drew the final design. To execute it, twelve different colors of paper
were collated carefully to create a gradient across the color spectrum. The paper was die cut in sections
and layer together to give the logo three dimensional form. The final piece is both imposing, delicate,
and colorful throughout.

Huge thanks to everyone that pitched in to make this possible!
