Around St. Patrick's Day 2016, I was commissioned to do a chalk drawing installation at the Springhill Suites in Savannah midtown. The hotel was undergoing renovations and wanted something festive to brighten up the exposed concrete area in their lobby. They were planning to hold a small drawing competition and so I was asked to fill the majority of the space with 20 1' x 1' square boxes for people to later fill with their own chalk drawings.
I used standard sidewalk chalk for most of the larger areas and chalk pastels for small details.

The "pot o' gold." This was outlined in black pastel.
I drew several shamrocks like the one below scattered around the area. Outlined with green pastel.
