Walk cycle on 4 legs

This is one of my attempts at a four legged walk cycle done at Vancouver Film School during my Classical Animation Program it was my first time ever animation a walk cycle for a 4 legged creature. I wanted to give a try to both a feline and a canine walk. While we were not required to make more than one I wanted to study a little better the differences between the walk of these two types of animal.
Here´s a closer look at the process behind this assignment
I used the notes column on the dope sheet to mark down where the high, low, and stride positions would go.
Something I really wanted to include in my feline walk was the slight twist to the wrist cats have when they do the passing of their legs. Dogs don't have this kind of articulation so I thought it was an interesting detail to add.
This is a sketch exercise I did to help me think and figure out juts how the legs would move.
Here´s my planning for the movement of the shoulder blades peeking out of the back. I wanted this to show becuase it is a very unique characteristic of feline walks, and I was trying to emphasize the differences between canine and feline.
Here's the canine walk. This animation was actually done first, and since it was a one week assignment I admittedly rushed a bit to finish it. You can see the jagged movement on the head and butt. But I wanted to spend more time on my feline walk since I ended up trying to add so many details to make it different.
