Ever since I was kid, I’ve always loved leather.
I used to collect my dad’s old leather wallets,
his old belts, my mum’s old leather bags.
And I ripped them all apart.
I then stuck the assorted pieces back together
and you’ll have to trust me on this, it was really, really ugly.
Well, and super messy.
Imagine a multicoloured ball of leather that wobbles and
leaves a trail of unhardened glue on the floor.
I hadn’t heard of Frankenstein as yet but then I was just six.
These days, I play with brand-new leather hides, fairly decent leather tools
and I’ve started creating little things that are more pleasing to the eye.
