Opportunity: Create a woodblock print with the imagery of your choosing to better understand the process of early printing.
I chose to create an Art Nouveau inspired piece for my woodblock print. I illustrated my design, transferred it to pine wood using wintergreen oil, and then hand carved out the design. The final prints were printed on Bristol and Fabric.
