Discostarmi dai luoghi comuni di affiliazione e folklore che ruotano attorno a Catania, ricercando in essa piuttosto il luogo sociale che attualmente la città assume in questo contesto storico. Catania nel mondo, per il mondo. Catania come sinonimo di auspicio; nella quale si fondono "speranza e futuro", per ogni individuo che, nato in quella parte di mondo "sbagliata", vede all'orizzonte i lineamenti della parte "giusta" a cui non fu destinato per nascita. Un ruolo, una responsabilità a cui Catania non si sottrae, ma si adopera con dignità e umanità e con buona dose di coscienza. Il manifesto, vuole essere un omaggio all'impegno che la città di Catania non fa mancare giornalmente ai figli di qualsiasi terra. Una sincera riconoscenza. Il titolo è volutamente diviso, per sottolineare la parola "terra", dove il punto non è la fine ma l'inizio della frase ciclica, quasi dirompente, che riprende il significato del manifesto stesso.

In my poster, I aimed to move away from stereotypes around mafia criminality in our city, searching for the social role it is currently playing in our historical context. Catania in the world, for the world. Catania as synonym for omen, where "hope and future" are blended together, for those people who were born on the "wrong" side of the world and still want to scan the horizon hopefully. A role, then, a responsibility carried out by Catania with dignity, humanity, and enough consciousness. My poster aimed to highlight the engagement the city carry out for people from everywhere. A sincere gratitude. I inserted an image rather than a graphic artwork, to make my poster more effective, and here the title contributes to develop a deep meaning. The title is deliberately split to call attention to the word "terra" (land/Earth), where the point isn't the end but the beginning of the cyclical sentence, which incorporates the meaning of the poster itself.
