Bolles - Loomis Residence

June 2012
Islington, London, England

The Bolles-Loomis Residence is a 1,300 SF residence located in Islington, in the northeast area of London.  The project is somewhat unique for London as the structure is a fairly recent construction with large windows and ample square footage.  The scope of the project consists of an interior design package and accompanying design style guide for the clients to utilize as a reference point for a comprehensive design which may be implemented over the course of a few years.

Design Narrative>  The infused styles in the Bolles - Loomis home are an individual expression of their personality, style and activities. The modern eclectic is an environment that has both reference to the past andto a global lifestyle - for example, with objects from Africa mixed with 1920’s and 18th century pieces; points of view coming from all different directions, but in the final analysis, speaking with one voice. It’s the perfect way to express the independence and individualism of the time and their lifestyle.
The Eclectic style is self-defining, because it enriches itself from varied sources. It mixes and integrates old and new, creating a vibrant, layered look that varies from room to room. The result is an orchestra of color, textures, patterns, fabrics, all incorporated into one unique and individualistic style.

The project is currently in design.
