Introducing a car to help people create the world they want.
The all-new Chevrolet Malibu was a critical launch for General Motors. This car needed to re-establish Chevrolet as a contender in the mid-size car class -- a do or die market for GM. With the claim of 'the most affordable Hybrid in its class', our website had to make it clear that this car helps conscientious consumers build a better world. And what better way to make this clear than by letting consumers create the world of the Malibu through drawings.

Through green screen, we had people draw things they would use with the money saved on the low cost of the vehicle. The drawings came to live as navigation - and users could click on the objects to find out more about them and their eco footprint.
The Chevrolet microsite site offered all the featured content of a traditional automotive site, but with the added layer of deep lifestyle content and eco-inspiration.
To help people understand how the hybrid system worked, we created an interactive animation of the system in action.
Safety was a big story for the Malibu. Each drawing revealed a part of that tale.
As with any GM vehicle, performance needed to feature large. This section the Malibu credentials to life.
Rich and detailed 360 views of the interior.
At the center of the website was the Malibu value. This story was told through the lens of family, friends, fun, and the final "F", finances.
