Sketching Process
This is a visualization of where I feel most at home. The incorporation of personal brand elements was crucial (logo, colors, tone, etc.), so the sketching process began with developing a warm and cozy environment with intimate lighting.
Flattening and Lighting
Once the illustration was sketched out, it was brought into illustrator. Everything was built in black and white in order to focus on how lighting would play within the image.
Color
With the illustration fleshed out in grey tones, the next step was to incorporate color that fit within my brand. Shadows were colored in blue and purple tones to compliment and enhance the warmth of the golden yellow light sources. The idea was to create a dark yet inviting space.
Texture
In the last step, texture was applied to soften and finish the illustration.
