Digital Illustration

Illustrations often form an important component of the visual identity of publications both printed and screen based. Consistency of style and visual content can contribute to a sense of continuity between items in context.
This project involved the creation of visually interpreting two texts which based on the concept of a parallel world;
The Circle by Dave Eggers and Pattern Recognition by William Gibson. In order to design appropriately, the mood of each piece needed to be captured as well as close analysis of each text. Experimentation and creative use of photography and photoshop applications, were used as methods of achieving this.
