HA—KOL

The Ha-Kol magazine is the newsletter of the Jewish community in Croatia. Five issues are published every year. The typography used in the design of the magazine (Lyon) is suited to continuous text, while the headlines are set in the Marlene display typography. Since the magazine mostly has older readers, some of whom have impaired vision, the point size of the typography is slightly bigger than in previous editions, which also prompted an increase in format (from the previous A4 format), due to the limited number of pages. The hierarchy of sizes — headlines, subheads, body text and pull quotes — was determined on the same basis. Throughout the magazine, the blue color of the Israeli national symbols is used.
