The base consists of 4 layers of wood that are used to hold
the leather in place, in such a way that sewing is not needed.
After the first prototype, we also tried to use other materials and shapes
for the base of the purse such as changing the base from
wood to methacrylate, and from a rectangular base to a circular one.
