this digital painting is an upgraded version of one i made a few years ago (which can be seen on my page.) the character placement did not change - only the objects they're holding and the additional scenery changed. i really wanted to use different techniques to mimic lighting, shadow, and transparency. my goal was to give this a realistic setting of living in christmas town. if you know tim burton, tell him i said heyyy.
