In June of 2006 my son Eli was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, a rare immune disorder. It caused a tumor to form under his right eye that was eating its way through his eye socket and into his sinus cavity before it was detected. Fortunately we had a remarkable childrens hospital within walking distance of our home where he was treated with amazing success. Once I was confident Eli was to be allright I began to bring my camera to visits which included scans, chemotherapy and surgery. All is well now...here are the photos.
