Kilts Center for Marketing

PRINT AND DIGITAL
Kilts Center for Marketing at Chicago Booth believes marketing is not a functional “silo”, but rather a driver of growth and marketplace value. They believe in deep questioning, intellectual curiosity, and a mastery of business fundamentals – hallmarks of the Chicago Approach to management education. My idea was to create a direct contrast from other business school brands, which are typically stuffy and pretentious. While Chicago Booth retains the serious and sober tone proper for business school and its deep, traditional background, the work has a friendly and casual demeanor that is welcoming and open—especially for those unfamiliar with the sample world of marketing.
The multi-colored Venn diagram conveys an image of disparate information coming together as students and faculty apply marketing principles to break new ground within the marketing industry. This simplistic motif allowed me to reinforce the idea of how many facets go into daily marketing decisions being made all over the world. I was then easily able to pull this motif throughout different mediums over the year as the Kilts program grew.
