Experiment For Dance
Experiment For Dance is a piece composed for contemporary dancers at the Trinity Laban Dance Institute in London. It was a collaboration between myself and choreographer Roxy Bryant.
The concept behind the choreography was to narrate social constraints and limitations. It tells the story of the individual within society and the constant struggle between conformity and rebellion.
The music had to narrate this as well, but I was given freedom to approach the composition in a more experimental and abstract way.
