This is a serie of illustrations I did to show the love of being a sneakerhead.

I called this project: Sneaker Badge.

The girl with cat ears is Cool Noodle, the main character of my comic. The monkey's name is SimpHoo, another main character, you can find other illustrations about them in my portfolio page. 

Each drawing is done by hand, 

Here are the tools that I used:

1. Inking: Zebra pen; Uni-pen; Black cat waterproof india ink;

2. Rembrandt 24 watercolor;

3. Feber-Castell color pencil;

4. Gelly Roll (For highlight);

Hand drawing cannot compete with digital on precision. I painted digitally for more than 10years, and yet I find out although digital tools will help you make money, but they won't make you a better artist. Don't believe me? Try to draw something without left hand "Ctrl Z"?

Anyway, I discover lots of possibility in this project. I found my happiness in the hand drawing, as well as enjoying the fear of the empty pages, when to stop, etc.
