Home is not just a space but also a place where we are surrounded by love, comfort and convenience. In today’s migrating world, most of us do not live in the same place we were born and globalization has changed our basic lifestyle in a drastic way. But, the one thing we carry everywhere with us, is our memories, our memories of home.
This project was carried out as part of 'Interim at Srishti'. We used text as a medium to bring out these memories. An extensive survey helped us generate a large number of quotes around peoples memories related to their homes. These dialogues were then curated in three main languages and the artwork was put up in Cubbon Park Metro Station in Bangalore.
