Auto Tank Humidity/Temperature Controller

Auto Tank Humidity/Temperature Controller
Designed for a tarantula tank
This system was designed for tarantula. Trying to keep the tank a perfect humidity and temperature was everything but impossible manually. I finally got sick of it and decided to design my own system to automatically keep the temperature/humidity at spider livable conditions. It consists of an arduino (with shield), a heat lamp, a reptile humidifier, a sensor (which extends out and goes into the tank), and two LEDs to warn me if the heat (red) or temperature (green) is above or below the nominal thresholds.
The brains of the system neatly packed into its box. Only the LED warning lights and wiring to external fixtures can be seen from outside the box.
The brains exposed. an arduino, a phidgets double relay, and two LEDS (to warn about heat or humidity outside the thresholds).
Close up of arduino to see detailed electrical work.
Temperature/humidity sensor. The only part of the system that goes into the tank.
