The thought process behind this page was to incorporate different aspects that are both playful yet illustrate the most up to date development trends in order to get these students excited about their own website. 

Upon landing on the homepage the navigation will show at the bottom of the browser screen (above the fold).  As you begin to scroll, the bar will scroll up but you will still be able to see the image behind it as a hover section becomes present and the overview text disappears when the navigation rolls over it.

Each section title will feature a new science themed image behind the text.  As your mouse moves around the page these images will slightly move as well to draw some attention.  Most sections will also be accompanied by fun educational icons.  These icons are meant to be SVG's that animate in one line at a time.  The idea behind these icons was to show the fun, playful aspect that can be incorporated into the development process.
