SKETCH
This tablet is my first work of the semi-ruggedized product. The device needs strong, tough and unbreakable. I analyzed the design element from the related product. By collecting those elements, I listed the key points which fit this project and show them into my sketch.
DESIGN DETAIL
The green part is the rubber of double injections, the rubber as the cushioning and waterproof material surrounding the tablet. The protruding rubber at the 4 corners enhance the strength and the hollow structure can be used with the accessories, like a strap or buckle. Moreover, the rubber extends to the back as the handle for more grip-ability.
