NOVEMBER 2009
AWARD WON:

3RD PLACE, FINALIST
Electrolux Design Lab ‘09 (Philippines)
“Designing For The Next 90 Years”

The Electrolux CookPot helps inexperienced cooks by retrieving cooking instructions straight from a food packaging’s RFID tag. In the next 90 years, magazines and recipe books can be RFID-enabled and devices can send downloaded recipes to appliances like the CookPot. Not only is the cooking temperature accurately controlled, the CookPot also reads the recipe out step by step so the user can learn how to cook through experience. Because of this, novices can cook food perfectly every single time, whether they are boiling, steaming, poaching, roasting or even
deep frying.
The CookPot takes away the fear of cooking because it guides the user step-by-step, ensuring successful results consistently. This space-saving product eliminates the need for separate cooktops, pots, colanders and specialty appliances, making it perfect for dormitories and small dwellings.
