THE SECRET OF THE JACK-O-LANTERN
My 8 year old nephew wrote a book, based on his favourite Enid Blyton stories. So for Christmas 2016 I edited the story a little: I filled out some lean areas, and arranged it into chapters. I did the typesetting, layout and printing, bearing in mind the fact that his library, and that of his parents, is full of very old prints and classics. Using my recently gained book-making skills and his desired cover-art, I hand-stitched it. A labour of love! I have never seen anyone more delighted with a Christmas present. He was over the moon that his book had been "published"! A very agreeable client.
