During that time Victorian rolls, check shirts and mid calf length pants along with rolled down socks was the look adopted by the teenage girls.

While teenagers wore a relaxed silhouette mostly. Women started wearing padded blazers with calf length skirt which was called "the new look" bought by Dior. Hemlines eventually went up with mini skirts becoming the new rage whereas the silhouette became lean, with narrower waist.
