Quick idea to improve the look of the new Windows 10 OOBE powered by Cortana
From this first screen, the grey background has been replaced with black, and the blue page background is gone also. I have also added a Skip button to stop Cortana's audio introduction.
The top tabs more clearly show how much progress has been made, and how much more there is to go.
I have added more text to show why we are having to wait at this point.
I have included the chosen username on this screen, so if there was a typo, it can be seen and corrected.
The existing screen is very cluttered, and whilst it all fitted into the view, I feel this layout makes it easier to read and take action, even if it requires scrolling.
