Nomu means to drink in Japanese and the form is inspired mainly by the delicacy of Japanese pottery,
which consist to create a simple, functional and aesthetic piece. Nomu is a minimal carafe that seeks to
change how we serve any beverage. Nomu's form is thought to give a different interaction with the user
thanks to its simplicity to serve and how the piece can be adaptable onto any space. Nomu will be part of
Milan Design week 2017 at Ventura Lambrate.
Ideation Process

Nomu can be used to serve any kind of beverage like, water, wine or even milk in a interesting and practical way. Also NOMU comes with a small cup inspired by the same concept in order to create a nice pottery family.

The caps are made from two specific hardwoods, Teak and Oak, the purpose is to preserve your beverages warm or cold and giving a nice contrast between these materials. The collection comes in different finishes, Terracotta, black matte as well as other kind of light palette.
