TROMA ENTERTAINMENT INC.
Since childhood I've been a fan of independent films, schlocky low-budget movies and classic sci-fi and horror. So when I managed to get the job working at TROMA I was ecstatic. They had created some of my favorite childhood films... The Toxic Avenger, Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD, Class of Nuke'em High... the list goes on (No they did not make Attack of the Killer Tomatoes).
Boy did I learn the tremendous effort that it takes to go into independent film-making. Long days and nights at the office to meet incredible deadlines, along with a constant flow of day to day tasks, and then the occasional
"We need you as an extra for this scene."
"But I've got all this work..."
"This is more important... Let's go."
Like me, everyone there busted their butt for the love of it... and you gotta do what you gotta do when you believe in something. Yes I have appeared in a few of their films but won't mention which... and yes I have had to wear the Toxic Avenger costume a few times, because I was the tallest guy around at the time.
