I choose the medical illustration as an example of how something so complexCan end up being so simple and easy to understand, I started with the kidneyBecause I wanted a challenge that only make me more secure of this one so as I started to trace the bigger objects first I felt that I was getting faster and effective as time went by
I used maybe a dozen layers that described how every component is namedAnd used similar colors that the original illustration suggested so I became more aware of my working progress and felt at the end a great accomplishment, but better yet I wanted to do another one so I picked the skull trace and finished in one day, because it didn’t require much detail and components as the previos one that took up to tree days to complete, I wish I can trace all the ones related to the anatomy, I will still do them when I have more time and have a section in my portfolio dedicated to medical illustration I just found that there is an actual field that is growing and making more sense of the human body as well as making more people that never had a bit of interest at all, because of the complex to simple changes I feel that Illustrator has more advantages that I realized.
