This beauty and skincare blog was created as my senior project for the Graphic Information Technology program at ASU.
This project included extensive research into the UX process and UX trends as well as conducting UX research such as user interviews to help understand the target audience and user testing throughout the design and development process to ensure the best output.
I also created branding guidelines using a moodboard to help determine the intended aesthetic, research to understand current design trends for beauty blogging, and color psychology to establish a color scheme that reflected the vision and theme of the blog.
The design process included several iterations of responsive wireframes and prototypes that were shown to small test groups to ensure an optimal user experience. Following that mockups were designed accordingly.
Next, the website was developed (mobile-first) to reflect the mockups. Cross-browser and cross-device testing was conducted to ensure that the website displayed properly on any medium.
Finally, SEO research and research into various beauty and skincare topics was conducted. Blog articles were outlined, written, and edited based on said research.
