PROBLEM
The album project was a practice in creative typography. The goal was to express the music typographically and develop a layout that fit with the gengre. I worked with two photographers to shoot original stills for the existing layout.

SOLUTION
The "jazz design aesthetic" has been an inspiration since I was young. Miles is known for his musical versatility, so I chose to represent two of his better known “styles” of jazz: the warm, vibrant, up-tempo bebop, and his cool, experimental, muted modal jazz.
