Typography Font: Neon 90's Font

My inspiration was to make something different that was somewhat modern or retro based off of design trends from 2016 and 2017. This project had me focus on what small details of a letter make it identifiable, pay attention to line thickness and over all pay attention to the smaller details. The struggle I had at first was to make every letter have a unique design but stay consistent with the same style. Another struggle that I had was to make the unique shapes that make letters. The success I had was using the empty space with pieces of a deconstructed letter to form legible letters and how stroke or color can completely change the overall feeling of a letter. The most valuable tools that helped me in my project was sketchbook to jot down my doodles of letters, the grid tool, the guides, pen tool and lastly the pathfinder tool.
