Coffee Break Table
The COFFEE BREAK table starts from the main concept of simplicity and flexibility of the objects. It was designed to be a light, robust, easy to assemble and store, and to be a multipurpose object, that can be used both indoors or outdors.
The initial idea was to give another utility to a serving tray, converting it into a table. The transformation process
is quite simple, and consists on transforming a 2mm thick plastic sheet (PP) into a cilinder using metaljoints. On this plastic sheet will be cut two handlers and four slots from where will pass two elastic bands to hold some magazines and newspapers. This cilinder will be the table support, while the serving tray will be the table top.
