DTSA works at the intersection of foreign policy, U.S. defense, and export regulations. The organization required branded designs for their intranet's training course certificates.Ā
Strategically Aligned and Culturally Aware
I approached the design challenge as an opportunity to breathe new life into anĀ overlookedĀ medium, envisioningĀ the certificates as a series of proud collector's items for promoting a culture of learning.
The certificates drawĀ inspiration from the visual language of international currency designs, feature DTSA's redesigned branding, and incorporate visual elements which call to mindĀ the agency's mission.
The certificates may be printed using color office printers and a foil card stock for aĀ cost-effective approach toĀ emulating specialty printing processes.Ā The designs were well-received by the client and workforce.
