In the background we see a much smaller neighboring house hundredsor yards away. This gives us a sense of the openness between properties andthat the better part of the landscape belongs to the owner of the main house.There is a sense of tranquility in such a piece where water meets earth and sky.The line technique suggests both organic forms and long stretches of landscape.
