Fascia is a sheet of connective tissue throughout the entire body, primarily made of collagen, beneath the skin that stabilizes and surrounds muscles and internal organs.
It is believed that our fascia holds onto emotional memory. Anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, and trauma, old or new, can be locked in the fascia and lodged permanently as chronic tension patterns
