The style for the front of the shirt was inspired by Michigan brewery pull tap shapes. The style for the back of the shirt was inspired by various coasters designed in the 50's and 60's, and 'retro' coasters from this decade that were designed in that style. This style was picked because it lends itself well to the lower level of detail required for screen printing.
