OPTICAL ILLUSION !!

" An Optical Illusion is characterised by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality. Hazy illusionary effects are created with the help of abstract motifs in various sizes creating an allover continuity. "

This project is a part of Print Design Project done while studying at NIFT, Gandhinagar. It was done with the purpose of learning the process of creating print designs on the basis of Trend Forecast.

"Colour mixing appears in new forms for S/S14 with a penchant for jarring and clashing effects. Rainbow colours are heightened, veering towards neon and saturated hues. Blue, orange, red and pink meet digital application techniques to create a modern explosive look."

As per this story from STYLESIGHT (S/S 14 Forecast), acidic colours with abstract motifs would give a mesmerising look. Mixing of neon and bright colours would give a modern and explosive look. Therefore, the theme "OPTICAL ILLUSION"  was chosen.
