Modular Music Composer
A class project looking to expand on our chosen area of expertise. With a drive to be a better digital designer and improve my coding, I decided to attempt to create and interactive interface.
The Modular Music Composer (MMC) was designed using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Howlerjs library and MDN's Web API's. Because of the Web API's capabilities, the MMC works best in the Safari browser.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Keen to show-off the MMC's capability, I used a Makey Makey and re-programmed keydown events to be triggered when when a circuit was completed. In this instance, utilising connecting knives and making a sandwich to compose a song, inspired by Devo.
