Ugo - an aid for children with Cerebral Palsy

An electric aid that allows the children to move more freely in different situations, avoiding the need for having several devices for a different activity.
Children with Cerebral Palsy require different devices depending on activity and therapy. Usually they require help to change from one device to another, becoming very dependent on adults.
The main idea behind this project is to give more freedom to the children and the adults, by having one device that can be used for different activities.
An engine slides the saddle and backrest along the column. The child can go all the way down and play at a ground level, place the saddle at a walking height or even sit by a table.
The sliding height is controlled with a remote by either the child of an adult.
The saddle shape helps in maintaining a good posture, while allowing the child to walk.
The angle of the saddle and backrest are adjustable.
One device for several situations throughout the day
