For this marketing campaign, Honda wanted a simple, stylish approach to demonstrate the tech components of the new Accord and Civic. Using immersive animation, typographical elements and graphic language, we brought those components to life within the interior and exterior environments.
The Creative Process
The style of animation is reminiscent of augmented reality. In order to achieve this, we had to use the technique of matchmoving, a process where we analyze footage and then overlay graphics precisely over real images.
Through matchmoving both 2D and 3D elements within and around the vehicles we were able to bring the audience in for a closeup of some of the amazing standard features that make Accord and Civic stand out above the rest in their class.
