In 1912, Dr. Thorild Wulff traveled to China to
buy items for Röhsska Museum. He was famous for his
collectiveness and his adventures.
When the Röhsska Museum opened in 1916, the
China Collection was given a prominent place, at the top
of the building. But only a small part of all that Thorild Wulff
had collected in China came to stay in the museum.
Wulff’s China collection is no longer left in its original scope.
Here for the first time the entire collection is presented.
