After learning about the devastating effects of a declining bee population, I was inspired to create this piece to illustrate the interconnectivity of bees and nature. Bees may be small, but they play a huge role in our ecosystem. They help pollinate the beautiful flowers we see, and the delicious food we eat. As individuals, one way we can contribute to the cause is by growing plants that are native to our regions to provide a habitat for bees.
