Jenny's Existential Crisis is a comedy spoof children's book, which follows a day in the life of Jenny, a young girl struggling to come to terms with her existentialism. The juxtaposition of Jenny's 11 year old life and her existential crisis is where the piece derives its humour from. The illustrations were drawn in Photoshop, printed and turned into a hardback book by hand. 

For this project we had to learn multiple bookbinding techniques, we learnt the stab bind, the running stitch and the hardback bind. We had to create two books for this project, and they had to relate, so as a companion book to Jenny's Existential Crisis I made a typography book of existential quotes. I chose the hardback design for both of the books I had to make for this project.
