When the city kept giving us the brush-off that my home and my neighbors' homes were regularly flooding with sewage and stormwater, I made this one-page infographic to explain the problem and what we thought the city needed to do. After handing out flyers around the neighborhood and gathering support, we presented at city council.

This action, along with a few others (appearing on local news, calling the Department of Natural Resources, the EPA and the Health Department), we got the attention we needed. The city sealed up the leaky pipe and purchased properties to demolish and make way for storm water removal. 

As a result, I was also asked to serve on the Mayor's Infrastructure Task Force, where I helped bring attention to the widespread problem of infrastructure neglect and what we can do about it.
