Geometric self portrait or Low poly portrait
The process of this project.
Reflection
This project is created for Digital Illustration class; the purpose was to create a self-portrait using only straight lines to make a geometric shape. I used Adobe Illustrator.
To start the project, first I took this picture with white background with strong light to be ease seeing the value and creating line and shape in each part of my face. After I placed my picture on the Illustrator, I divided my face into shapes sorting by color using a pen tool. Then I filled color in each parts using an eye drop tool.
Thorough this project, I was surprised with the variety of colors on my face. I really learned a lot during this project especially how to use keyboard shortcuts. This project is fun and enjoyable, and I start doing my daughter’s picture.
