Paper Dolls: A Fashion Project

Paper Dolls was a project to showcase clothes made out of paper and non-fabric materials. It was basically a Project Runway challenge with a much longer time limit!

I started with an idea of making some paper outfits and designing a fashion spread with these outfits in mind. It turned into a full fashion photoshoot with runway show! I put together six outfits made of paper, cellophane, spray paint, tissue paper, and various specialty papers.

This project (the outfits and the fashion show poster along with the behind-the-scenes video) was entered and accepted into Cal Poly's 2D3D juried art show 2017 and won 2nd place!

Watch the behind the scenes video below!
